Bali Zoo is a very nice place to spending time with families to creating happy core memories! The place is so huge with over 500 animals from all around the world! Kids are free to touch and even feed the animals! So interactive and educative!

How neat & tidy the zoo was, the staff as well the Tiger exhibits which were our favourite. The rooftop terrace gave great views of the surrounding area.

Who Knew Elephants Could Be This Chill? – A Wild Day at Bali Zoo 🐘 If you're in Bali and thinking, "Should I visit the zoo?" the answer is YES — and make sure you say hi to the elephants… from their back! The Bali Zoo was a pleasant surprise. It's not just cages and signs — it’s more like a tropical jungle where the animals are the chillest locals you’ll meet. The place is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the animals actually look like they’re living their best lives. Now, let’s talk elephants. I went on an elephant ride, and let me tell you — I have never felt cooler (or taller). My elephant was basically the James Bond of the jungle: smooth, unbothered, and surprisingly graceful for such a massive creature. The ride was peaceful, scenic, and gave me a whole new appreciation for these gentle giants. I think we even bonded — I may have a new spirit animal. Big shoutout to the staff who clearly love what they do. They treated the animals with care and respect, and shared fun facts along the way — like how elephants eat 150kg of food a day. Honestly, same. In short: great zoo, awesome vibes, and 10/10 would ride an elephant again (preferably with a little safari hat next time).

This was hands down one of the most incredible experiences of our entire trip to Bali. The "Elephant Feeding & Mud Bath" at Bali Zoo exceeded all expectations - from the warm hospitality of the staff to the once-in-a-lifetime chance to get up close with these gentle giants. Getting into the water and scrubbing down an elephant while it splashed around was surreal and surprisingly emotional. It’s not every day you get to connect with such majestic animals in such a personal way. The setting of the zoo itself is lush and well-maintained, and the team made sure everything felt safe, respectful, and animal-focused. You could tell the elephants are loved and well cared for. If you're in Bali and looking for something meaningful, interactive, and memorable - this is it. Worth every cent. Highly recommend booking in advance and wearing something you don't mind getting a bit muddy!

The zoo is beautifully set out. I loved getting up close to the elephants! The breakfast with the orangutans was also a really nice experience.
